The main character, ‘Goo Hee-in’, is, to put it bluntly, a scoundrel. One ordinary day, he is struck by lightning and is able to see his 'soul'. And through 'soul', you have the ability to find out the true intentions of others by digging into their conversations.

Gu Hee-in names her soul 'Jing', and 'Hee-in' and 'Jil' test the limits of its abilities. Meanwhile, after meeting a good reporter named 'Seon-ha', Hee-in uses Jing's ability to read the true feelings of many people and helps Seon-ha write better articles.

However, Heein continues to use that ability and feels strange and guilty.

Hee-in's ex-girlfriend, Park Seon-ju, comes to see her and suggests that they meet again, and Hee-in falls into a complicated state of mind as she and Park Seon-ju have an ambiguous relationship.

As Hee-in helps Seon-ha with his work, he becomes convinced that he no longer wants to live as a garbage man. Meanwhile, Seon-ha becomes increasingly emotionally closer to Hee-in.
